Nancy's son - Thomas - came home from school one day. He brought a letter from his Schoolmaster for his mother to read. He gave the letter to his mom and she read it. She cried. Thomas asked his mother why she cried. "The Schoolmaster tells me you're a Genius and that the school doesn't have teachers good enough to teach you", she said.
Nancy home-schooled her child. She taught him how to read, to write. And math. Her son was always a very curious child and studied much by reading on his own. This belief in Self-Improvement remained throughout her son's life. He once said:
“My mother was the making of me. She was so true! So sure of me! And I Felt I had Someone to Live for. Someone I didn't Want to Disappoint.”
It is so crucial that we feel what to do to turn things around! The actual words of the Schoolmaster were that her son was 'mentally deficient' and 'expelled from the school'.
Nancy, Knew how to Be the Change by Starting with Herself. Being an Example for Positive Perception of things. It Changed her Son's Life and Made Him Believe in Himself to Be a Genius.
Her son - Thomas Edison - is now called "One of the Greatest Inventors in History".
After his mother passed away. Thomas found the letter from the Schoolmaster and wrote in his diary:
"Thomas E Edison was a mentally deficient child whose mother turned him into the Genius of the Century".
